Master’s in Professional Legal Skills
Offered in collaboration with **Manchester Law School**, this year-long program equips students with essential legal skills, blending theory with practical application, to enhance your employability and hit the ground running. Successful completion of this course will you give you an accredited Master’s Degree from both Juris Law School and the prestigious Manchester Law School in the United Kingdom.
The program covers:
Foundation Skills
Such as legal systems, business structures, and technology in legal practice.
Core Legal Skills
including client interviewing, negotiation, drafting, and advocacy.
Advanced Practice Specializations
like corporate law, banking, litigation, and more.
Enrichment Activities
such as court visits, mooting competitions, and legal clinics (some UK-based).
Eligibility Criteria
A bachelor’s or master’s degree in law
IELTS of 6.5 with a minimum of at least 5.5 in each module
Half-Day to Two Week Courses
Tailored programs for government entities, semi-government companies, corporate teams, and legal and advisory professionals, focusing on specific needs such as compliance, commercial awareness, fundamentals of M&A and advanced negotiation.
Target Audience:
1-2 hour sessions per day, maximum of 6 hours per week

Ben has been based in the GCC for over sixteen (16) years. Ben was one of the original founding lawyers of the Abu Dhabi Office of US-headquartered Law Firm Akin Gump Straus Hauer & Feld LLP in 2008 and was solely responsible for the establishment of the Oman Office of UK Law Firm, CMS Cameron McKenna Nabarro Olswang LLP. Ben has represented family businesses, private companies, government entities, buyers, sellers and investors in all aspects of trade across a broad range of industry sectors, including mergers and acquisitions, sports, media, entertainment, technology, cultural projects, manufacturing and distribution. He has also gained experience of many multi-jurisdictional transactions managing other law firms and coordinating cross-border as part of a seamless team.

Waleed was born and raised in Riyadh. He obtained an LLB degree from the Prince Sattam Bin Abdulaziz University in 2017. He also holds a High Diploma in Law from the Imam Mohammed Ibn Saud Islamic University. He is a licensed member of the Saudi Lawyers\\\\\\\' Authority. (442085) After graduation he started his career as a legal consultant at Faisal Al-Dahim & Partners and also worked at Turki Al Muhya Law firm. From 2019 until 2022 he worked at the Ministry of Interior in the Projects-Contracts department.
